The Pointe in Carolina Trace in Sanford, NC

Posted by Rita on Apr 14 2008 | Lee County Subdivisions

The Pointe is the newest neighborhood developed within Carolina Trace in Sanford, NC. The Pointe offers 19 lots in one of the most desirable parts of Carolina Trace. Lots vary in size from over 7/10 to under 2/10 of an acre. Of the 19 lots, 10 are lake front on Lake Trace. Several of these lots additionally overlook the 18th hole on the Creek course. The remaining lots offer fabulous lake views from the front of the lots and border either hole 1 on the Creek course or the country club itself. All of the lots are very convenient to the country club, which offers a club house, tennis courts, a pool, and playgrounds to country club members. Of course, this also makes The Pointe convenient to start and finish points for the Creek and Lake courses. This convenience means less time getting to the course and more time playing for those who suffer that addiction known as golf. The first homes were built in 2005 and homes are continuing to be built. A few lots are still available, with prices for these exclusive lots typically above $100,000.The homes in the show above are only for example purposes; I do not have them listed. Carolina Trace in Sanford - Beautiful in Autumn

Posted by Rita on Dec 08 2007 | Lee County Subdivisions, Sanford Area Subdivisions

Carolina Trace View of Lake Trace in Autumn
Carolina Trace Autumn Views on Traceway Autumn usually visits this part of North Carolina at the end of October and finishes up in early November. This year it has been warmer and drier than normal and fall came later than usual. Just before Thanksgiving the the leaves were at their peak. Carolina Trace is a pretty development and I got the chance to take a few pictures before the leaves all fell. The picture at left was taken along the main road - called the Traceway just beyond the turn for the country club. The road here goes up a hill and around a bend.
As I continued down Traceway, I took a few shots of one of the ponds along the Creek Course. The blue skies and the colors on the trees look pretty, especially when reflected in the water. Carolina Trace View of Pond in Autumn
Carolina Trace Autumn Views on Traceway The road continued to give me some great scenery on this wonderful fall day. This shot was taken just before reaching Mallard Cove and Highland Woods at the end of Traceway.
I took this photo near the tee of one of the holes on the creek course. This view shows the rolling hills found in our area. The green grass contrasts with the surrounding trees. Carolina Trace Autumn Views along the Creek Course
Carolina Trace Autumn Views This autumn view was taken along one of the side roads in the Woodmere and Trentwood section of Carolina Trace. What a great autumn view!
This is a view of one of the holes on the Lake Course overlooking Lake Trace. Note the golf cart - I wasn’t the only one enjoying the beautiful weather and great scenery of autumn in Carolina Trace. Carolina Trace Autumn Views along the Lake Course
