North Shore was one of the first areas developed within Carolina Trace in the late 1960s. It is the largest neighborhood in Carolina Trace with over 250 lots within North Shore. Lots vary from around 1/3 of an acre to over one acre but average about 1/2 acre. There are many lots within this neighborhood that are lake front on Lake Trace. There are also 6 smaller lakes and ponds within this neighborhood. The largest of these smaller bodies of water is the 7 acre Lake Arnold (at left). The entire Lake course at Carolina Trace winds through North Shore as well as holes 2-3 of the Creek course. With homes built from the late 1960s to present, there are a wide variety of different home types and styles within North Shore.
